Originally from Portugal but now living in the Boston area, I love to draw and design new patterns. My art is constructed by printing blocks I design and hand-carve myself. Each hand-carved block creates a unique design ranging from simple to complex patterns and tessellations. Inspired by nature and architecture, my work includes flowers and leaves, fun and whimsical animals, organic and abstract shapes and optical illusions.  I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
